CFT for babies

Our babies are being born tight

Tongue ties and lip ties are being more and more mainstream and commonly seen

These ties (also known as Tethered Oral Ties) are tight fascia in the mouth that when dysfunctional can create discomfort in feeding and overall well being for baby and mom.

Ex: feeding issues, difficulty latching, painful latching, reflux, colic, etc.

Our bodies are smart and adaptable. Meaning that the body will evolve within dysfunction: creating different patterns and layers of compensation. Overtime and into adulthood, these will turn into deeper structural issues.

Ex: crowded teeth resulting from an under developed jaw, orthodontic correction, sleep patterned breathing (adult apnea), snoring, headaches, neck pain and postural issues.

Early intervention leads to proper development of the face (maxilla & mandible) and proper airway.

non invasive care for babies

true resolution comes from having a comprehensive care team on your side

Each baby, body and mouth will be different and will need different levels of care and intervention. Being supported by a talented team with many different angles of expertise is essential when it comes to a non traumatic and fully addressed resolution.

I work in tandem with airway certified dentists, fascia forward PT’s, nervous system centered chiropractors, etc. + whoever you have already established care with to create soft, gentle healing that lasts.

tight fascia can result in:

Gentle enough to heal

healing doesn’t have to be hard nor forceful

through gentle touch and invitation, the body will automatically start to unwind the strain in the fascia planes

soft oscillation between the occiput and

sacrum let us tap into the craniosacral fascial

system and release tension full body at the root

force does not equate to more

CFT makes other work more

productive

We call it “cleaning up the mouth” for a good reason

sometimes the mouth and surrounding structures

are so tight, we can’t even see the ties

Addressing the underlying fascia strain is like taking a magic wand to the most stubborn places in the body.

Especially in terms of working with your care

team towards a possible revision,

CFT prior is essential to loosen up the tightness

in the entire mouth so the release can be full and successful.

Even without a revision, the gentle unwinding of all the tight tethered ties (lip, tongue, buccal) will aid the mouth in softening - creating space and freedom to function optimally.
